Grant funding may be available, but this can vary depending upon your location.
For example schools and colleges within Devon may have access to funding from the Cutting Your Wasteline grant which could be used to part fund a Ridan.
Or see http://www.recycledevon.org/kidszone/teachers/primary/funding.php Please check with your local authority for similar schemes.

Lottery Funding is also available nationwide to non-profit and educational establishments, see
 http://www.awardsforall.org.uk/england/apply/A4A_guide_england.pdf

Or within Shropshire, this is available

And the conservation foundation -

More Composter Funding Options - some may be relevant!

  1. HSBC - If a HSBC employee is already assigned to a local school and working with the ECO committee, then they will be able to apply for funding through our National Steering Group for a local project. The project should provide strong opportunities for volunteering, along with a lasting positive impact on the community.
The funding is there for HSBC to use, so if you receive any enquiries for schools, you could ask if they have a HSBC volunteer and then go from there. However not all schools on the ECO schools register have registered for a HSBC volunteer.
