The Diamond Learning Community School in Wellingborough Northants have decided to take action and do something about the food waste that they have been sending off to landfill, ‘its expensive and bad for the environment’. So using a Ridan Pro 400 food waste composter and two maturation boxes they are just starting to recycle their food waste on-site. With extensive wooded grounds and a keen enthusiastic team of caterers and grounds staff it won’t be long before the food waste is improving their soil making the school even more impressive.
